Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.
What Data We Store
When a customer signs up for an account, no matter whether they’re purchasing or not, our website will store the details they have provided. If the account is created by our staff, the minimum amount of data this will contain is the customer’s email address, password (which is encrypted), the date they registered and the date they last visited. If the User created the account themselves, then it will also contain the IP address and Host Name they used the last time they logged in. If the customer types in further information, such as their address and telephone number, this will also be stored on their account.
When a User places an order, the information they enter, such as their name, email address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, company name, and VAT number will be stored within the order. The other information that is stored is as follows:
- IP address, its host name and its country location
- type of device used, such as mobile or desktop
- the date and time ordered
- payment method
- amount paid
- the shipping method
- the number of loyalty points earned, if applicable
- any activity on the order, such as the date and time the order was completed by our staff
- customer type: new customer, a returning one or a guest
- the products ordered
Please note: No payment information, such as credit card number, is ever stored within our site or our systems servers. This information is always stored separately by our payment provider(s).

Singularity Audio collects and uses Users personal information for the following purposes:
- To improve customer service
Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
- To personalize user experience
We may use relevant information to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
- To process transactions
We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
- To send periodic emailsThe email address Users provide for order processing, will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include instructions to unsubscribe or a User may contact the site directly.
Social Media Plugins
The social media share buttons, which can be found on all product pages and blog pages, only transmit data once they have been clicked. Therefore, the button only becomes active once the User has clicked on it, and at this point they will be using the social media’s website. The only data the social media’s servers receive from our site is referral information from the page, such a product title and image. No personal data is transmitted.
The Facebook login feature works in a similar way, and no personal information is transmitted to Facebook. However, once the User has clicked on the button, any data that is gathered from their Facebook account, such as name and Facebook ID, will be stored within their User Account.
This can be deleted as usual, if requested.
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.
The right to access
All Users can access the data we hold about them by requesting to see this information at any time and we will comply within 48 hours.
The right to rectification
Customers with an account can change any information stored about them within the Personal Information section of their account.
Data stored within a customer’s order remains unchanged if they change their personal information within their account. This can be changed, upon request, for all customers even if they checked out as a Guest. Please contact us to arrange this.
The right to be forgotten
Under new rules everyone has the right to be forgotten on websites. Subscribers to our email newsletters can click on the Unsubscribe link that is automatically added to all email newsletters from us. You also have the right to ask us to remove any data we hold on you in a User account.
Please be aware, User details will still remain on any orders they have placed due to VAT regulations. This is because VAT records must be kept for at least six years from the date of creation and, if they’re not, we will be in breach of the VAT Act 1994 and HMRC Notice 700/21 October 2013.
Third party websites
Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website\’s own terms and policies.
